Privacy Policy

PragyaXchange ("we", "us", or "our"), operated under the name "Pragyasuite Technologies", is an online platform that helps manufacturing and industrial businesses post buy/sell/capacity requirements and connect with each other directly on WhatsApp (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Pragyasuite Technologies is not yet a formally incorporated legal entity — the Platform is currently operated by its founder(s) under this trade name. This Privacy Policy applies to that operator in its current form and will be updated to reflect the incorporated entity once registration is complete.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account & Contact Information

• Mobile number — used to log in and register via OTP (one-time password). This is your primary account identifier.
• Name — the contact person's name, if you provide it.

1.2 Business Information

• Company name, GSTIN, company email, business logo, company description, and the products/services you list as offered.
• GSTIN details are used solely to manually verify your business and display a "GST Verified" badge — we do not use them for any other purpose.

1.3 Listing & Transaction Information

• Requirement/listing details you post (type, category, description, location, images).
• Quotes, counter-offers, and notes exchanged between businesses on a listing.
• Business connection requests ("leads") you send or receive, including any name, email, or note you provide with a request.

1.4 Engagement & Usage Data

• Records of when you click to contact a business via WhatsApp, phone call, or email (used to measure interest and for platform analytics — see Section 4).
• Basic technical data such as browser type and access timestamps, collected automatically by our servers.

We do not collect payment card details, government ID scans, or precise device location.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and authenticate your account (via OTP).
• To display your business profile and listings to other users, where you have chosen to make them public.
• To operate the quote, business-lead, and contact-reveal features that connect buyers and sellers.
• To manually verify GSTIN details you submit for the "GST Verified" badge.
• To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of the Platform.
• To send you OTPs and, where applicable, WhatsApp notifications related to your account activity (e.g. a lead being accepted).
• To improve the Platform through aggregate, non-identifying analytics.

3. Contact Information Is Never Shown Publicly by Default

Your WhatsApp number, phone number, and company email are never displayed publicly on listings or business profiles. They are only revealed to another user after you have explicitly accepted a quote from them (for listings) or accepted their connection request (for businesses). This is a deliberate design choice, not a default web-page behavior — see our Terms & Conditions for how this gating works.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

• With other users, once contact is unlocked — as described in Section 3, your WhatsApp number/phone/email is shared with a specific counterparty only after mutual agreement (accepted quote or accepted lead).
• Service providers — we use third-party providers to deliver OTPs and messages over WhatsApp (e.g. Twilio, Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform) and to relay emails (e.g. Brevo or SMTP providers). These providers process your phone number/email solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Pragyasuite Technologies, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — if Pragyasuite Technologies is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Data Storage & Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted password/credential hashing, access-token based authentication, and role-based access controls for our administrative systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Login sessions are managed via secure tokens stored in your browser for the duration of your session; we do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data (most profile fields can be edited directly from your account).
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data (e.g. company email, business description) at any time by removing it from your profile.

8. Local Storage

We use your browser's local session storage to keep you logged in during a browsing session. This is functional, not tracking-related, and is cleared when you log out or close your browser tab (for most flows).

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for use by businesses and business representatives who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
